Kindergarten students at ACPC recently performed their Christmas musical “A Season of Fun”. Mrs. Laura Marcum and all of the kindergarten students have been working hard for weeks to present their program to the school and to their families.
Each class, or sometimes 2 classes combined, had a special song to present, then at the end of the program all kindergarten students sang the 2 closing songs together. Since our school opened 12 years ago it has been a tradition that we use the same 2 closing songs. Mrs. Marcum, the music teacher, said that her favorite part was that during the first show, the 1st and 2nd grade students also sang along because they knew the songs as well. The program went as follows:
Holiday Parade -- Mrs. Hale and Ms. Hanley's class (Began the program with a parade followed by their song presentation)
Happiest Christmas Tree--Mrs. Hogue's Class (The performed with cardio drums)
The Little Snowflake --Mrs. Feese's Class (Action song with a huge dancing snowflake)
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree--Mrs. Keltner's Class (They used huge candy canes as dance props)
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer--Mrs. Richard's Class (Santa and Rudolph showed off for this classic)
He'll Be Coming Down the Chimney--Mrs. Hare and Mrs. Pepper's Classes (They performed their song with motions and a special appearance by Rudolph)
When Santa God Stuck Up the Chimney--Mrs. Kelsey's Class (Santa got stuck and needed a hand by his elf friends)
Santa's Coming--Everyone
We Wish You a Merry Christmas--Everyone
Thank you to our parents and community members who came to watch and support our students. It really means a lot to the kids. We have our program during the school day so that all of our kindergarteners have a chance to participate.
